Learn how to make one of several different quilted jacket patterns, a perfect everyday coat that can be made by cutting up a quilt, using quilted yardage, or using a supplemental companion pattern to make the coat pieces. Patterns to consider include the Elemental Jacket, Laura Jacket, Tamarack, Bella, or even the One-Block Wonder Jacket. The patterns have different options you can consider such as a hood or pockets. In the first session we will decide on the type of jacket you want to make and your approach, along with tracing your pattern so you will be able to reuse the pattern. If you are cutting up a quilt, we can also lay out the pattern pieces on the quilt to get the look you want and you may be able to start sewing.
