Quilters Dream Select is a mid loft cotton batting and Quilters Dream says this batting is their most popular choice with buyers who are longarm quilters. It is my favorite batting for flannel quilts or whenever I want high quality cotton batting that is a little thinner loft than Quilters Dream Deluxe.
This batting is 100% Pure Cotton. You may stitch up to 8 inches apart or as closely as you like. It is great for hand or machine quilting. Prewashing is not recommended and not needed because Quilters Dream Cotton is very clean and shrinkage is minimal (1-3%). There are no resins, scrim or binders. It's made in the USA and it truly "quilts like a dream."
